About Tanya Schrobilgen

My name Tanya and thank you for joining me!  My greatest passion is exploring what life has to offer and I hope to share and inspire people to do the same.  My life has been led by inspiration and passion.  I’m a world traveler, a thrill seeker, an adrenaline junkie, a doctor, and an educator.   My goals are to inspire people to stop making excuses and delaying life and to start living.

Life is too short to keep put everything off waiting for some perfect moment to finally say ‘lets do it’.

I work as a PA in the Emergency Department in Southern California after following in the footsteps of someone who had inspired me.  I earned my doctorate in Medical Science and continue to practice in the ER as well as teach medicine to those aspiring to enter the field of medicine.  Through this, I have learned that life can be fragile and I live life like there is no tomorrow.

I have been traveling for the past 4 years, visited over 28 countries, seeking out adventure and learning about the various cultures.  It is truly my pleasure to share my thoughts and journies with you and I hope it inspires you!

Facts about me:

  • I’m 32 years old
  • Mother is Filipina, father is American (surname is from Luxembourg)
  • Born and Raised in Southern California
  • I grew up as a “tom-boy” and “ugly duckling” which has made me pretty down to earth and non-judgemental.
  • I earned a doctorate in Medical Science and practice as a PA in an Emergency Department between my travels.
  • I have always had a goal to be self-sufficient and never rely on anyone financially. This is what has driven me to become a successful, independent woman.
  • Pineapple is my favorite fruit, and YES it belongs on pizza!
  • I rarely watch TV because I don’t like the idea of getting sucked into watching life rather than living life.
  • That adrenaline rush is what I live for. Thats why I work in the ER and am often willing to try dangerous activities like scuba diving with sharks, running with bulls, and voluntarily jumping out of perfectly working planes.
